Faith Walker Comic Celebrates 20 Years

Two decades ago in Los Angeles, California, a powerful concept which took shape and form of a comic strip was born. This now Christian comic book pioneer is called — Faith Walker™.
Fast forward 2010-New Creation
Now, a leader in the faith based comics book genre, Faith Walker is celebrating two decades in the industry. Featuring characters from Open Sky Creation's Minister, Clint D. Johnson artist/writer/graphic novelist/ designer and creator of The Footsteps of Matthew Cross: Faith Walker. Faith Walker stands tall as one of the well-loved superheroes online.
In commemoration of its 20th year, the 2010 roster of events has yielded a number of Faith Walker projects including graphic novels, animated trailers presentations, and convention appearances.

Faith merges with creativity as The Footsteps of Matthew Cross: Faith Walker™ follows the journey of a street smart minister who becomes an agent against the forces of darkness. “The Hero that gives God the Glory” was created to inspire and encourage by spreading the word of God in a fresh way.
The official kick off began in Black History Month of 2010, with an ashcan sized publication called “Victorious special edition” featuring history notes and short stories of inspiration and hope, crafted by Johnson, and the talented Tim Gagnon providing pencils and color to the storyboard.
The ball keeps rolling with the target fall release of the “Victorious” graphic novel featuring rare classics and two brand new stories,displaying strong recent work from Clint Johnson and hot new talent Herbert Richardson,Jr.
Minister Clint, who serves as Youth Director at New Covenant Tabernacle in California, exclaims in excitement that God has allowed him to build and develop the illustrated ministry for two decades. He believes that his faithfulness and unwillingness to allow a dream to die is a credit to his faith and that God does give the desires of the heart.
Touching old friends and embracing new faces with a hefty platter, this is an exciting time for us as we press into a bright future teeming with promise. Equipped with compelling content, multiple platforms and a fist full of faith The Footsteps of Matthew Cross: Faith Walker™ are closing strong while leading into a fantastic 2011 with proposed releases Art of Warfare and the origin called Saints and serpent.

Being dynamic with the world of collectible comic books, New Creation now creates Christian comic books and faith based webcomics that are ethnically diverse, and denominational open.
