Well the start of 2011 has kicked in and picked up a lot of momentum. Father time has already hit his turbo switch and January got dusted. The second month of 2011 is officially here and running. Can you believe it? We are already in motion with our goals , day planners, digital comunication devices and such. It's over a month old, new car smell is fading--what are we doing with the non returnable sands in the old hour glass? I've ask the question what is my motivation? No, really what is the core ? My foundational reason to breathe beyond the God given automatic switch. I'm all hyped up about the Faith Walker plans. I'm officially in motion with his Revolution on the heels of the 20 year anniversary. So one of my goals is to do more with the The priestly patrol man than ever before. We set it off with the Victorious Graphic novel on line. I was as happy as a puppy in a milk bone faciliy---My First order came in. It helped me crystalized the view o f what I do or what Faith Waker is destined to do. ---Moving ahead, pressing twoards the mark , go get it, charge!!!!! Okay you get it.

The realization of carrying a vision has become more than just an inspired concept. It's an actual living organism that the Father has given me charge over. I'm the stewart over what he gives me. As time spins I seek earnestly To glorify God, to educate and enlighten others. To touch some souls. 2011 is a transition year. From down to up, so-so to fabulous, good to great in every area of my life. Transition is a powerful word. growth . change. That's a component of my goal. my drive my cause. To transition on purpose. Well, I have to get back to my lab or as Faith Walker would call it the strong tower. Working on the New Book. It will be great on purpose.

As we all press ahead allow me to give a shout out to BLACK HISTORY MONTH. This is when America sets her calendar to acknowlege the journey and achievemants of the sons and daughters of Africa. We as a people have done a lot here. Some real milestones. As a tribute I'm posting a series called The Inspiration Illustrated. This first effort is this rendering of the late great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This sketch was originally printed black and white in Holoman's Black Achievers way babk in the early 90s. Martin Luther King, Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American clergyman, activist, and prominent leader in the African American civil rights movement. He is best known for being an iconic figure in the advancement of civil rights in the United States and around the world, using nonviolent methods following the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. King is often presented as a heroic leader in the history of modern American liberalism.
His achievments were numrous and impactful. A Baptist minister, King became a civil rights activist early in his career.[4] He led the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott and helped found the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in 1957, serving as its first president. King's efforts led to the 1963 March on Washington, where King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech. There, he expanded American values to include the vision of a color blind society, and established his reputation as one of the greatest orators in American history.

In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to end racial segregation and racial discrimination through civil disobedience and other nonviolent means. By the time of his death in 1968, he had refocused his efforts on ending poverty and stopping the Vietnam War.

King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977 and Congressional Gold Medal in 2004; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was established as a U.S. federal holiday in 1986.

More information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King,_Jr.

Until next time...walk his way,

Clint D. Warmest greetings to my friends fam and Faith-Walk-a-holics. We've come to know that blogging is the new 21st century telegraph. After a few attempts over the years I fell off, I'm back on with a purpose. So, let me start pecking .This entry begins on Christmas Eve. I'm relaxing with my family at the home of my wife's God parents Just outside of San Diego (comic con country). I Just finished Watching State of Play and one eye on Blind Side and catching Blue Bloods for the first time. Catching up for you movie buffs--Hot Flicks. I'm taking a moment to reflect on 2010--WOW! As I clear my throat and hold back my tears, careful to count my blessings. With all of the activity of 2010, I am very much a thankful man. God is good.

This year in terms of career/ministry movement The Footsteps of Matthew Cross: Faith Walker in took on new legs. Closing 2009 with the 2010 Calendar, we came in on a mission--dubbing the torrential '10 as “Year of The Walker”--celebrating 20 years of the Hero That Gives God the Glory.

Prior to The release of the Faith Walker Victorious Graphic Novel we released the FWV Special Edition that made a strong showing at ECBACC 2010 Exhibit. Faith Walker was sharing table space with his adopted family; Rick Madison and Faithstar comics at this convention. Rick and Joe expressed that the attendees loved the book and the posters as they moved off of the table.

Back in California my New Covenant Tabernacle church family supported the book and the efforts as I made my annual trek to the San Diego Comic book and Pop Culture Convention. FWV was posted at the Christian Comic Art Society table among the myriad of other exceptional Christian Comic book titles. I had the honor of being on the spiritual themes panel with KJ kolata(The Cardinal) Bret Burner (Lampost). The program moderated by Scott Schuford of Frontgate Media. The experience was encouraging and was a total blast! Fellow creative Wayne Cash (artist/co creator of Lil Rock and the Hi-ups) and I hung out all day and became even more encouraged by the wealth of talent at the pop culture monster show.

As the year approached an end the Faith Walker's Publisher New Creation Now Studio amped up it's production team to ensure the revised, revamped, reborn FWV Graphic Novel version was ready for the world. The cover was upgraded with digital paints by Pastor Tim (Redemption: Iron Saint) Gagnon. We added the latest non web episodes “Sin Assassins” (my latest stroke of the pencil) and introduced illustrator Herbert Richardson Jr. on “Sins of the Father”. Sins of the father has an cover also Has an inked piece by comics great Gary Martin on top of Herb.—smoke’n

The GN was made available on December 10th at www.faithwalkerhero.com, www.newcreationnow.com and shortly createspace (pod). To our delight amazon.com recently began to offer the title.

December 19th, I had the pleasure to appear at the Christmas party for reality TV show Kids On The Porch. Producer Rana Ray and staff were gracious and allowed me to present FWV at the gathering. One of the highlights of the night was a rare appearance of my alter ego “Saint Ice” performing the Faith Walker theme song.--It went over quite well. On a deeper note the greatest personal moments came when an Associate Pastor obtained a copy of the graphic novel. That was a real peak moment for me. That was a quick snap shot of the upside of ’10. After that it was back to the grind. Just gotta’ love the grind.

This concludes my entry for 2010. God willing I’ll keep this digital communication current. We have some awesome goals for 2011. Hang on to your seats and lace up your walking shoes as we retool for the Faith Walker Revolution. Until we fellowship again…

Consider the text of the noted writer Paul of Tarsus… " I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Keep pressing.

-Walking through the door way of destiny.-

Clint D. It's been a measureable span of time since last we chatted...well here we go-- It was the Friday before Christmas and all in my house, folks were counting sheep, even the mouse. When I was yet a babe in Christ I was eager to do something artsy at my home church (then First Apostolic Church of Inglewood). I was always drawing and creating flyers, hungry to use my gifts in God's house. While working with the PR department, Deacon David Dell said to me; Cant, why don’t you use your art as a ministry? Hmmm...

The seed was planted as I was off and running. While praying for a way to birth this ministry God allowed me to run into Ms. Annie Pierce, publisher a tabloid called the Community Coupon Clipper. I had done some work in a prior publishing venture of hers so she was very receptive. I shared the concept of a scripture spouting, robe wearing, and streetwalking, cooler than cool aid community character. In 1990 the Faith Walker took his first steps. In an environment where challenges were constant, the illustrated evangelist always brought the answer
wrapped in the word of God. He walked for nearly four years, twice a month stepping on the devil's head, inspiring many a believer. The hero that gives God the glory was born of biblical basics and a comic book imagination. Many have sprung up since then but the anointing of the Father still rides with him.

I've garnered some awesome relationships in relation to Faith Walker, I mean folk who have planted seeds and inspired me to keep rolling. I feel like I'm at an award show... I'm afraid to name names so this is just a few...Mom, Marjane', DeNay, 3the hard way plus 2more Ty, Marvin, Tim, Wayne, Jose, Steve, The Blakeleys, Ralph, Don , Kevin, Rob, Herb, Ricky, Richard D, Annie, Collette, Karl , JD, LLIII, Betty , Attica, Meezie, Bishop, Lady Wanda and so many others have spoken life to this vision. (Okay, if you were not mentioned charge it to the head and not the heart) While helping kids or taking down demons-He still fights the good fight of faith. Each one of us have a faith walk ahead of us, be of good cheer and of good courage. We walk by faith and not by sight.
I'll blog y'all again when I have something of interest to talk about.

Clint DeRon Johnson/ Father of The Faith Walker

-Walking through the door way of destiny.-
